Journey to Christmas

If you're wondering why I've been out of action for a long time, there is only one simple explanation; CHRISTMAS IS COMING! I'm sure I am not mistaken when I say that December is the most hectic month for any Christian. Here is my to-do list for the month of December!

1. Celebrate my beloved grandmother's birthday. (she cooks the best food in the world!)

2. Put up the Christmas tree

3. Dress my dog Pluto up in weird costumes.

My Dog, Pluto!

He is the most fluffiest, cutest, most cuddly in the world but I guess most people will say that about their pets. Before Pluto, I had another dog, Hiro but he died in a car accident. Ever since then, me and my family felt like a big piece of ourselves were missing (including my dad even though he dislikes dogs). But as soon as we got Pluto, everything changed and we felt happy again. I can't find the words to describe how cute he really is so I will let the pictures do the talking!

Waiting for somebody?

I swear they forced the hat on me!

These are my books I tell you. MINE!

Twilight Addict!

Just yesterday, I walked into Popular to find the book. I just had to know what was it that was so addicting, that I can't move an inch without hearing the word Twilight. So I got the book and started to read. I didn't feel anything at first because I was reading it in the car so my eyes were out of focus. But when I regained the focus of my eyes, they started to widened with every page I read when finally I screamed out, I LOVE TWILIGHT!!!

I admire Stephanie Meyer's style of writing, her ability to describe the intensity of the relationship between Bella Swan and Edward Cullen. I think it is safe to say that this is the most romantic and interesting book I have ever read! I just finished the story and now I am determined to nag my parents until they regret not sending me to the asylum to by me the next book!

So then I started digging up info on the movie that is set to release very soon. I went on YouTube to watch the trailer and after just one look, I'm already starting to countdown the days until the big event. To conclude this very short blog, I would just like to scream out one more time, I FREAKING LOVE TWILIGHT!!

Party, Madagascar, Twilight!

If you are wondering what the hell I'm talking about, (which I know most of you are because no one gets my attempts to be funny) it's just a summarized version of what I did today.

First we had our cathecism class party. Nothing special. Just some moronic boys trying to be funny, one of my friend getting drunk because of overload of 7 Up and a game called 'Musical Back'. I even got this 'thing' for not coming for the exam last week! If you squeeze it, it'll imitate a kissing noise and say 'I Love You'. Yay!

Then, me and my family were off to Jusco to catch a movie. My parents wanted to watch 'Quantum of Solace' but me and my sisters wanted to watch 'High School Musical 3' again. But we ended watching 'Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa' while my parents watched their movie. It was actually quite nice and very funny. But the theater was packed with little kids, though. Awkward... Oh! And the picture in the middle is my ticket for Madagascar and High School Musical 3.

So after the movie, I pestered my parents into stopping by de Popular bookshop before we left. Guess what? I finally got the Twilight book!!! Yay! Now I can finally find out what about it that is driving everyone crazy. I am now up to page 43 and I am liking it so far. I will keep you posted on my intake of the book. Oh! And I also saw another book there that I despise so much so I want to show it to you guys to show you how much I despise it. Stay tuned for my next blog.

(Wow! I sound as if alot of people actually come to read my blogs!)

HATE IT!!!

LOVE IT!!!

It's finally the holidayz!!! And I am bored to death...

I never thought I'd say this, but I actually miss school! I guess that going to school actually gave me something to do. But now that the holidays have started, we do the usual four phases that are required during the holidays; eat, watch tv, play computer and sleep...
You might be wondering why I'm complaining. Well, since yours truly has achieved...er...not so satisfactory marks during her recent examinations, she is required to study during the month of November (and also caused another unsuccessful attempt to get a PlayStation 2!). It's a crime just to type the sentence out. But another reason for that is that I will be sitting for my PMR examinations next year (or as I call them 'Painful Method of Revenge) and lets just say that I'm going to need all the help I can get. So to all those of you who are nicely sitting at home with your leg curled up on the sofa, watching 'The Game Plan' with drool slowly falling from your mouths, I hate your guts. But to those who have extremely influential fathers, help me save the trees. SAY NO TO ALL EXAMINATIONS! POWER TO THE STUDENTS!

Exams: A Teenager's Point of View

Why do we constantly have to take exams? In fact, yours truly is about to sit for one tomorrow and her teeth are practically chattering and she has to resist the temptation to yank her hair out and scream! Remember when you were in primary school and you only had to worry about five subjects only? Well, in secondary school, it sucks to have to study seven extremely hard subjects as well as maintain your sanity all at once.
In my opinion, we don't gain anything from exams. We memorise and study and do exercises after exercises until our brains melt but it all goes away after exams, right? We rejoice. enjoy and relax during the holidays but when the time comes for us to return to school, our heads are as empty as my father's plate at Sri Paandi's after he finishes eating his briyani rice. So, are we gaining or losing here?
Why am I freaking out over the exams? The main reason here is because I want a PlayStation 2 soooo badly!!! This beautiful joy-bringer has eluded from my grasp for almost 3 years. Do you have any idea what it does to a teenager's mentality!!! I also feel pressured. Not by my parents or friends but by myself. I want so badly to make my parents proud and get a prize at the end of the year and move up to the best class next year that I have to resist the temptation to cry my self to sleep every night. I'm also afraid that if I fail to achieve my parents expectations, I will probably be suffering for the rest of my life. If you think I'm joking, you are sadly mistaken.
So even if we gain or lose by taking exams, feel pressured by it, be tempted by the glorious PlayStation 2 or go insane studying to make our parents proud, we still have to take it for some reason. Let me know if they finally agree to ban all exams in the future...
