25 January 2009
Damn! January hasn't done me any good so far. I admit I was excited at the prospect of seeing my friends again and maybe I was anxious to begin studying after a long, hard earned time of lazing around. And I also guess the famous saying really does exist; BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR!
The minute I stepped into the classroom, (sweating out buckets because of the mad stampede to get a decent sitting place) I was greeted by teachers who made it crystal clear that Form 3 was going to be hell on earth. I also got homework on the first day because the teachers believe that we should be mature enough to start studying immediately. Puh-leeze. I mean, have of the Form 3 students probably still watch Disney Channel! (or is it just me?) Does that sound mature to you?
I'm also taking more interest in co-curriculum. So I signed up for a badminton competition and a chess competition. But the two events coincided with each other so I chose the safer one. Chess, of course. So, I've been practicing on online games with the computer. I think I must have played over 20 games and lost each and every one of them!!
Well, January's coming to an end. I'm just hoping that February will be more merciful towards me! Note to anyone reading this, PRAY FOR ME!

yup, we do have to be careful what we wish for!
shall i pray that you start winning some chess games or that february would bring some winds of change that will certainly make yo see that you are mature enough to handle your day well to achieve your dreams?
good read arvina - i enjoyed it. by the way, the diary of anne frank is absolutely enlightening.
